Welcome to a personal training program where we explore the unique fitness form known as Kalaripayattu or simply as Kalari. Kalarippayattu, the indigenous martial art of Kerala, is possibly the oldest existing martial art in the world.

I’m Arka Mukhopadhyay. I believe that the purpose of theatre and all art is to awaken ourselves to the limitless possibilities we carry within ourselves. Kalari is such an art form that helps us heighten our self-awareness, focus, and attention, as well as our inner stillness.
